Managing Replies from Appt Reminders

When an SMS is sent from the Appointments and the Patient replies, the replies can be found in SMS Manager.

  1. Go to Location Management > SMS Manager

  2. Select Retrieve SMS Replies (if Retrieval Method is set to Manually only)

    1. Under Inbox select Appt Reminders
    2. Click Select All to include all appointment books or Deselect All to unselect all appointments books to the manually select the appointment books to include                                                     
    3. Tick Show Inactive box to show inactive appointment books 
    4. Click Select All to include all or Deselect All to then manually select the Text Messages you want to include
      1. View replies and Status on the right
      2. Select Status Button:
        1. Confirmed - to mark appt status as confirmed
        2. Cancelled - to mark an appt status as cancelled
        3. Clear Status - to clear an existing status
      3. Double click or hover over the message to read full Message Text
      4. Right Click on the message to:
        1.  Easily access patients' file
        2. Set SMS Appointment Confirmation Status e.g. Y
        3. Set SMS Appointment Cancellation Status e.g. Z
        4. Clear SMS Appointment Status
      5. Once changes are made, select Update Appointment button
      6. When actions have been completed, e.g. Patient has been contacted and nothing further to do, select the message and click Move to Archive
