When an SMS is sent from the Appointments and the Patient replies, the replies can be found in SMS Manager.

Go to Location Management > SMS Manager

Select Retrieve SMS Replies (if Retrieval Method is set to Manually only)
- Under Inbox select Appt Reminders
- Click Select All to include all appointment books or Deselect All to unselect all appointments books to the manually select the appointment books to include
- Tick Show Inactive box to show inactive appointment books
- Click Select All to include all or Deselect All to then manually select the Text Messages you want to include
- View replies and Status on the right
- Select Status Button:
- Confirmed - to mark appt status as confirmed
- Cancelled - to mark an appt status as cancelled
- Clear Status - to clear an existing status
- Double click or hover over the message to read full Message Text
- Right Click on the message to:
- Easily access patients' file
- Set SMS Appointment Confirmation Status e.g. Y
- Set SMS Appointment Cancellation Status e.g. Z
- Clear SMS Appointment Status
- Once changes are made, select Update Appointment button
- When actions have been completed, e.g. Patient has been contacted and nothing further to do, select the message and click Move to Archive
