There are two methods to send appointment reminders via SMS and E-mail.

Batch Message: Use this method to send to multiple patients for a date range.

Single Message: Use this method to send to only one patient.
Batch Message

Go to the Appointment Book > Options menu > Send Appointment Messages

Date Range: Select the date of appointments to send reminder

Method: Select from SMS and E-mail; they must be completed separately

Message Type: Select from

Appointment Reminder: Used to seek confirmation of the appointment

Appointment Notification: Generally used for non-confirmation messages

Location: Select the location or Any Location (if applicable)

Appointment Books: Select the books to send the message to

Click OK

Individual messages can be edited before sending by clicking in the Edit column

Click Select Ready

Click Send

Go to the Appointment Book > Right click on Appointment

Send... > SMS or E-mail

Message Type: Select from

None: Select to create a new message, not using a template

Appointment Reminder: Used to seek confirmation of the appointment

Mark Using # Status: Select if the appointment should be marked with an appointment status after sending

Click Send
