Appointment Statuses can be added either at the time of the appointment creation, or at a later stage. Often statuses like Confirmed and Lab Arrived are added closer to the appointment date, when the action is completed.
Enter Status During Appointment Creation

Go to the Appointment Book

Follow the usual steps to create an appointment

In the Appointment Status section

Click on the drop list to select appropriate status

To remove, click in section and scroll to the top and select the blank status

Click OK
Enter / Modify Status on Existing Appointment

Go to the Appointment Book

Right click on Appointment > Modify Slot

In the Appointment Status section
