Send Calendar Information with Appointment Reminders

When e-mailing appointment reminders, a patient can now add the appointment reminder to their calendar.

Considerations

  • Patient must have an e-mail address within Patient Records > Patients tab > E-mail

  • Patient must have Appointment Reminders via E-mail selected in Patient Records > Patients tab > Address sub-tab > Send Appt. Reminders

 

Activate Feature

  1. Go to Location Setup > General tab

  2. Group: Communication Settings

    1. Include Calendar file in E-mail appointment reminders: Yes                         

 

Manually Include/Exclude Calendar File

When sending appointment reminders manually, the option to include/exclude the calendar file is available. 

Individual Appointment Reminder

  1. Go to Appointment Book 

  2. Right click on Appointment > Send > E-mail

    1. Tick/Untick Include Calendar File                                                                                       

 

Group Appointment Reminder

  1. Go to Appointment Book

  2. Options menu > Send Appointment Messages

    1. Tick/Untick Include Calendar File
