In this article you will find the following:

Set up a video device so that the capture is initiated by a keystroke.

Go to Capture menu > Setup (Advanced)
Enter the password
1. The password is the current date in short format. Example: the password for 21/09/2020 is 210920
Device Setup: Video sub-tab
1. Click Add
2. Enter the details of the device and click Settings
In the Video Device Profile window > Capture button support = Keystrokes
Once activated, click Settings
In the Video Profile Settings window, assign a keystroke to the specific action of the software.
1. Click OK
