Setup and Send Automated Patient Check Out SMS

The patient will receive an SMS when they are marked as Checked Out in the Appointment Book. Practices can insert their feedback survey link in the SMS to request a feedback from the patient.

This feature is only available for Build 5203 + and to those set up with SMS capabilities. Pre-requisites for Setting up SMS in D4W/PSS

Setup

  1. Go to Location Setup > General tab 

  2. Group: SMS Settings 

    1. Select Yes for Send SMS on Patient Check Out

  3. Go to Debts/Marketing > Mail Merge Setup tab 

  4. Mail Merge Category: Appointments 

    1. Highlight Appointment Check Out

    2. Click the edit icon to create the template blobid2.png

      1. When writing the template, see the Insert menu for input fields

      2. Go to Template menu > Update to save

      3. Go to Template menu > Exit 

Send SMS 

  1. Right click appointment > Click Checked Out

  2. Click Yes to this message

  3. Check the SMS, click Send
