A trigger is a feature that allows to always have an item code automatically entered into treatment when another is entered. For example, each time you enter the item code 114, item code 121 is to be entered automatically.

To go Location Setup > Items tab

Select the item to be automatically entered (eg 121)

Click Triggers sub-tab

Tick Use Triggers

Untick All Items

Enter the item to trigger this item (e.g. 114)
Frequency
At this stage, the only option available is Once a day. This means that the trigger will only work once per day per patient.
Usage
When the trigger item is entered into Treatment (e.g. 114), the item is automatically entered (e.g. 121)
